Hanna Mattes: Voice
Bernhard Wöstheinrich: Synthesizers, Samplers, Keyboards & Arrangement
Produced by Hanna Mattes and Bernhard Wöstheinrich
Mastered by Markus Reuter
In Hanna Mattes’ new musical-poetic project, together with me, she explores grief as a terrain of memory, transformation, and surrender. This work unfolds gradually — one piece at a time — like slow breaths taken after a loss. Each release stands on its own, but over time, they will form an album together: a loose constellation of sound and text, shaped by mourning and made in collaboration.
As with the album Take Me to That Landscape, this project lives in the space where spoken word meets experimental composition. But where that earlier collaboration circled around desire, touch, and myth, this one lingers in absence, questions, and the quiet rituals of remembrance.
This is not a concept album, nor a chronicle of loss. It is a living project.
A slow, imperfect offering. A candle lit at 9pm. A photograph of a thought.
