In philosophy of mind, qualia are the raw, subjective “what it is like” aspects of conscious experience. They are the felt qualities of experiences, such as what it is like to see purple, taste coffee, feel pleasure, or hear a string note.

This is the second edtion in the new Qualia release series of ambient music, exploring the intimate textures of perception and sound.

This series is a space for ongoing sonic exploration. Some pieces presented here are recorded traditionally; others emerge from audio that has been stretched, granulated, substantially altered, or transformed in various ways into entirely new forms. Some of those tracks blending those methods.
This series opens a wide creative field of experimentation and exploration in immersive, atmospheric ambient sound design.
