TaboTago live in Concert: Kulturcafe Neukölln

The true guardians of the classic Berlin School sound perfoming live, using sequencers, synthesizers, and improvisation to create long-form, atmospheric pieces.

TaboTago consists of three musicians: Bernhard Wöstheinrich (Keyboards, Sequencer und Synthesizer), Leander Reininghaus (Strings, Keys, Electronics), and Andreas von Garnier (Analog- and Modularsynthesizers), all active in various experimental and electronic projects beyond this band.

The band started as a tribute project to Edgar Froese and Tangerine Dream, reworking tracks from the mid‑ to late‑70s era. Over time they have moved beyond pure tribute into their own extended improvisations, keeping the hypnotic sequencer patterns and cosmic textures but treating them as a playground for new ideas.

Their electronic sounds were not just played, but built layer by layer until a unique sonic space was created.” – Peter Scherrer, Editor, Kulturkompass-MV
