I’ve resumed my art practice of the “annual oil painting”

These oil studies are a parallel to my music journey. Amid diverse material and color trials, oil on canvas remains my preferred mode. Unlike music and design, my paintings never really came to the fore.

Presenting “Radius 1,” my 2023 piece. More variations on this motif can be expected, as circular forms recur in my work anyway. I embrace simplicity in shapes and compositions, even in canvas shape; so, most of them have a square shape, which still seems unusual for some.
