Recorded live to 2-track at the Buttonwood Tree Performing Arts Center in Middletown, CT 06457 on April 12, 2023.
This performance at the Middletown Performing Arts Center was truly a new addition to my list of US venues, as I had never played there before. The warm atmosphere of the venue and its gracious hosts infused an extra dose of positivity to the music.
As usual this was all composed, programmed, and recorded in real-time by a crazy mind and his laptop and keyboard. It is all completely impromptu and created, played and arranged live straight off the bat.
During the break after the first set I had the opportunity to engage in conversations with concert attendees. The second set then begins with a rendition of the track “Stark” from my recent solo album “Genre,” which I also was presenting during this tour. It led me to deviate slightly from my concept of purely impromptu music. It was a truly memorable event and very inspiring for me.
