Materiaal 082 – Live in Warendorf 20250207

by The Elsewhere Project

Recording of a live performance from February 7, 2026, at “Zwischenraum – Ort des glücklichen Zufalls” in Warendorf, Germany.

A fully improvised set with no overdubs or pre-recorded parts.

Volker an I have been invited by our long-time friend Norbert Zumdiek to perform at “Der Zwischenraum – A Place of Serendipity”, a new venue in the lovely and beautiful historic city center of Warendorf.

“Der Zwischenraum” (“The In-Between Space”) in Warendorf’s old town is a cultural and community hub based on the so-called ‘Third Place’ concept. According to this idea, people should have a third space alongside their home and workplace for social interaction and engaging leisure activities.

Our gig was one of the first musical performances at this venue, and much to our surprise, it was incredibly well received. The room was sold out, with every seat taken.

We felt warmly welcomed, and the audience showed a genuine interest in our music. This was certainly reflected in our performance; as usual, it was fully improvised, meaning we incorporated the unique vibes of the room, the moment, and the audience into our sound.
