Bernhard Wöstheinrich – Live in New Jersey
Two of the 2011 US-North-East tour concerts are now available as “Live in New Jersey 2011”.
The release documents the concerts at the Equinoxygene Festival in Hackensack, NJ and the Live-on-Air performance at
Mike Hunter’s “Music with Space” at WPRB in Princeton.
The two music-episodes of 50 and 15 minutes in length span the range from floating ambient sections, classically
inspired synthesizer music to sequencer work-outs and innovative electronica.

Erik Wøllo & Bernhard Wöstheinrich – Arcadia Borealis (DiN34)
Ian Boddy’s label DiN has always offered the opportunity for diverse artists to form interesting and unexpected collaborations.
On Arcadia Borealis Bernhard is joined by Norwegian ambient artist Erik Wøllo. Although this is Erik’s first DiN outing he is well known internationally having released many acclaimed albums on labels such as Spotted Peccary and having collaborated before with well known artists such as Steve Roach. Indeed it was at a music festival in The Netherlands where Erik and Bernhard first met which coincidentally had DiN label boss Ian Boddy playing on the same bill.
The basic premise for the music on Arcadia Borealis was to look at the 18th century, when Arctic explorers were like the Apollo astronauts of their time. Venturing into the great unknown with the real possibility of never returning home. A time when the books of Jules Verne & H.G.Wells set the tone for the scientific advances yet to come. So the album takes the listener on a journey to new and unexplored lands, inspired by the landscapes and weather of Wøllo’s Norwegian homeland.
The 12 tracks cover a range of atmospheres with many environmental sounds providing an aural backdrop over which Wöstheinrich creates his characteristic organic, evolving rhythms. Wøllo is well known for the melodic element of his work and he weaves beautiful, beguiling melodies that rise and fall like the seas those early explorers would have sailed upon. At times the music has an austere simplicity reminiscent of Wøllo’s Norwegian compatriot Biosphere and certainly each track paints a sonic picture that the listener can absorb themselves in.

Conrad Schnitzler & Bernhard Wöstheinrich – 20070709
Conrad Schnitzler (1937 – 2011) has been a prolific German experimental musician, he has been a major, though reclusive, figure on the European music scene since the late 1960s. Schnitzler was an early member of Tangerine Dream (1969 – 1970) and a founder of the band Kluster. He left Kluster in 1971, first working with his group Eruption and then focusing on solo works.
Bernhard met Conrad to do an interview for the German KEYBOARDS magazine in 2007.
There was an instant connection between the two, so Conrad gave Bernhard 4 CDs to to work on, i.e. to produce a new record from the source material.
The re-mix was done using an automatic self-referential audio process, the result of which was slightly re-arranged by Wöstheinrich afterwards.
A compelling abstract 62 minute landscape of industrial beauty.

centrozoon – Vacuum Love, Vol. 5 (Archive Series)
Vacuum Love, Vol. 1-5 is the first batch of centrozoon’s archival releases. It was recorded live to 2-track DAT in and around October 1998, years before centrozoon released their first official album. The music is presented as is, uncensored. These sessions (some of which were recorded live in the studio, some live on stage) hint unmistakably at what was to come.
We’re proud to finally being able to present this music in its entirety. There are some technical flaws with some of the recordings, but we’ve left them untouched in order to not mess with the flow of the improvisations. This music is the seed of centrozoon as we know it.
